The National Peace Council (NPC) is appealing to government, development partners, corporate organisations, and the public for support after torrential rains flooded its Head Office in Accra, causing extensive damage and disrupting operations.
An initial assessment showed that floodwaters inundated several offices, including that of the Executive Secretary, as well as directorates and storage areas, damaging office furniture, electronic equipment, and important documents.

Executive Secretary Dr. George Amoh joined staff in an emergency effort to salvage equipment and recover valuable materials from the affected offices. He described the damage as a major setback to the Council’s work and appealed for assistance to replace the damaged items and restore normal operations as quickly as possible.
Some items damaged includes computers, air conditioners, laptops, office cabinets, documents among other other vital and undisclosed materials which sre vertical essential to the Council’s works.
