The Assembly Member for the Tegbi Ashiata Electoral Area, Mr. Ephraim Jumpah with support from a German based Non-governmental Organization has supported education in his community.
The donation which involves the donation of school uniforms to more than 300 pupils of Tegbi Ashiata Basic School was one of major educational projects in the school in recent time.
Each beneficiary received a complete set of school uniforms through the generous sponsorship of WOEZO-Ellena Hassan Library, (Germany-based NGO) led by Dr. Christian Hassan and Dr. Afi Hassan.
The NGO fully financed the initiative as part of its commitment to improving education and supporting children in the community.
Expressing his appreciation, Mr. Jumpah, commended the NGO for its continuous contributions to the development of the electoral area.
“As the Assembly Member for this community and an old student of this school, I sincerely appreciate the remarkable support WOEZO-Ellena Hassan Library has provided to my electoral area and this school, It is our hope that education is transformed holistically. Mr Jumpah said.
He further appealed to other non-governmental organizations, corporate institutions, and philanthropists to extend similar support to the Tegbi Ashiata Electoral Area to improve education and the welfare of children in the community.
