The Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA) has engaged the Awoamefia of Anlo, Togbi Sri III, and other key stakeholders to discuss the progress of the Keta Harbour Project and address critical matters relating to its development.
The high-level meeting, which was held at the residence of Awoamefia, brought together traditional authorities, local government officials, and technical experts, and forms part of ongoing consultations toward the full realisation of the port project.
Present at the meeting were Madam Sandra Seyram Kpedor, District Chief Executive for Anloga, and Mr Wisdom Seade, Municipal Chief Executive for Keta.

The Awoamefia emphasised the importance of transparency, collaboration, and community participation in ensuring that the project meets the aspirations of the people. He also called on residents across the coastal districts to remain cooperative and actively participate in the main public engagement scheduled for October 23, 2025, at Keta.
