Afenyo-Markin Donates GH¢40,000 to Tsiame SHS

Member of Parliament for Effutu Constituency, Mr Alexander Afenyo-Markin, has donated an amout of GH¢40,000 to Tsiame Senior High School to support the rehabilitation of the school’s boys’ dormitory.

The donation, made on Monday afternoon at the School premises in the Keta Keta Municipality of the Volta Region, was in response to an appeal from the school for financial assistance to rehabilitate the facility and improve accommodation conditions for students.

Afenyo-Markin, who was unable to attend the presentation personally, delegated two members of his staff to present the funds on his behalf at a brief ceremony at the school.

Receiving the donation, the Headmaster of Tsiame SHS, Mr Ehiekpor Kwabla Kuma, accepted the funds on behalf of the school’s management and expressed appreciation for the gesture.

The presentation was witnessed by the former Assembly Member, Mr Bernard Sukah; Regent Torgbui Shikabli IV; Regent Torgbui Dallah III; Dumega Seth Adonoo; and Mr Atsu Kovor, Head of the Africanian Mission.

The stakeholders commended Afenyo-Markin for responding to the school’s needs and expressed confidence that the funds would be judiciously used for their intended purpose.

The support, they said, would contribute to creating a safer and more conducive residential environment for students of Tsiame SHS.
