Police have arrested the matron of Wovenu Senior High Technical School in Tadzewu, Ketu North, for allegedly stealing food meant for students.
The incidence was reported by a Tadzewu based radio station, Revival FM Wednesday afternoon
According to the reports, She was apprehended Wednesday morning around 6:20 a.m. by the assembly member of the area and some community members while transporting some food items including rice, canned tomatoes, tined fish, cooking oil, and canned milk.
She was arrested with a police sergeant from Ho reportedly acting as the driver.
The suspects were handed over to Tadzewu Police and later transferred to Dzodze Police for further investigation, as authorities assure the public of a thorough probe.
