Mr Williams Kofi Ahorlete has donated teaching and learning materials to the Hatsukope Basic School to support effective teaching and improve the learning environment for pupils.
He says the donation forms part of aims towards commitment to contributing to educational development and promoting the well-being of children in the community.
Presenting the materials, Mr Ahorlete said quality education required a collective effort, particularly in ensuring that teachers and pupils had access to the basic resources needed for effective teaching and learning.
“Education is the foundation for the future of every child and the development of every community. I hope these materials will support the teachers in their work and give the pupils the resources they need to learn effectively,” he said.
He urged the school community to make proper use of the materials and encouraged the pupils to remain committed to their studies.
The Headteacher of Hatsukope Basic School expressed appreciation to Mr Ahorlete, describing the donation as timely and valuable to the school’s teaching and learning activities.
He said the materials will go a long way in supporting both the teachers and pupils. He was grateful for this intervention and appealed to other individuals and organisations to emulate this gesture and support schools in their communities,” the Headteacher said.
The presentation highlights the role of individuals and community stakeholders in complementing efforts to improve educational outcomes, particularly through targeted support to schools.
Mr Ahorlete reaffirmed his commitment to initiatives that promote education, youth development and community progress, expressing hope that the gesture would encourage others to invest in the education of children.
