Bleamezado-Anloga (V/R) — September 05 2026
Mr Richard Kwame Sefe, Member of Parliament for Anloga Constituency, has made some significant donations to support healthcare delivery at the newly commissioned community clinic in Bleamezado in the Anloga District of the Volta Region.
The donation, which includes cash of GH¢20,000, is earmarked to support establishing a laboratory at the facility, while the motorcycle is intended to enhance the mobility of health personnel and strengthen healthcare outreach within the community.
The donation followed an appeal by the Chairman of the commissioning programme, Dr Holy Alormatu, and Togbi Xornametor I (Mr. Vincent Kwamitse Kaledzi) for support towards the establishment of the laboratory.
When completed, the laboratory is expected to enable health workers to conduct essential diagnostic tests within the community, reducing the need for residents to travel to other health facilities for basic medical investigations.
Speaking to veritasnewsgh after the commissioning ceremony, Mr Sefe expressed appreciation to individuals and organisations whose contributions had helped bring healthcare services closer to the people of Bleamezado.
“I am deeply grateful to everyone whose contribution, in one way or another, is helping to bring quality healthcare closer to the people of Bleamezado,” he said.
The MP’s support complements the contributions of Mama Ablavi Sotorli Dogbatse Kudolo, who supported the construction of the community clinic, and Mr Vincent Kaledzi (Togbi Xornametor I), who provided medical equipment to furnish the facility.
The commissioning ceremony attracted residents of Bleamezado from home and abroad, traditional leaders, elders, youth groups, health officials and other stakeholders.
The Anloga District Director of Health Services, Madam Jemima Misornu, who led the commissioning, urged health workers at the facility to demonstrate professionalism, dedication and commitment in providing quality healthcare to residents.
The MP’s intervention is expected to accelerate efforts towards establishing the laboratory and improve the clinic’s capacity to provide accessible and effective primary healthcare to the people of Bleamezado.
