Mama Setorli, Togbi Xornametor Lead Healthcare Support for Bleamezado Community

Residents of Bleamezado in the Anloga District of the Volta Region have benefited from a newly constructed and furnished community clinic through the benevolence and support of two prominent community benefactors, Mama Ablavi Sotorli Dogbatse Kudolo and Mr Vincent Kwamitse Kaledzi (Togbi Xornametor I), .
The community clinic, constructed through the generosity of Mama Ablavi Sotorli Dogbatse Kudolo, is expected to bring essential healthcare services closer to residents and reduce the challenges associated with accessing healthcare outside the community.
Complementing the construction of the facility, Togbi Xornametor I supported the project with medical equipment to furnish the clinic and enhance its capacity to provide quality healthcare services to residents.
The contributions by the two benefactors have been widely described as a demonstration of their commitment to community development and the improvement of healthcare delivery in Bleamezado.
Mama Ablavi Dogbatse says the project does not have any commercial motive but her commitment to community service
“The decision to support the construction of this clinic is rooted in our desire to see the people of Bleamezado live healthier and more productive lives. We consider it a privilege to contribute to essential healthcare delivery and bring it closer to our people, especially those who need it most.” Mama said
The commissioning ceremony, chaired by Dr Holy Alormatu, was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 and brought together residents of Bleamezado, traditional leaders, regents, elders, youth groups and other community stakeholders.
Representatives of the District Chief Executive, the Medical Superintendent of the Anloga Polyclinic and members of their respective teams also attended the ceremony, underscoring the importance attached to the initiative.
As part of efforts to further strengthen the clinic, the Chairman of the programme, Dr Holy Alormatu, together with Togbi Xornametor I, appealed for additional support towards the establishment of a modern laboratory facility.
They said the laboratory would complement the services of the clinic by enabling essential medical tests to be conducted locally, thereby improving diagnosis and treatment for residents.
Responding to the appeal, Mr. Richard Sefe, Member of Parliament for the area, donated GH¢20,000 towards the laboratory project. He also donated a motorcycle to support the mobility of health workers and improve healthcare delivery within the community.
Mr. Sefe in his interaction with veritasnewsgh.com expressed appreciation to all individuals and groups whose contributions had helped bring healthcare closer to the people of Bleamezado.
“I am deeply grateful to everyone whose contribution, in one way or another, is helping to bring quality healthcare closer to the people of Bleamezado,” he said.
The Anloga District Director of Health Services, Madam Jemima Misornu, who led the commissioning ceremony, urged health workers assigned to the facility to give their best in delivering quality and timely healthcare to residents.
She encouraged the staff to demonstrate professionalism, dedication and commitment to the people they serve, stressing the importance of making the facility a reliable point of care for the community.
The commissioning of the clinic marks an important milestone in efforts to improve access to healthcare in Bleamezado, with the contributions of Mama Ablavi Sotorli Dogbatse Kudolo and Togbi Xornametor I providing the foundation for the facility and its initial medical capacity.
With further support towards the proposed laboratory, the initiative is expected to expand the range of healthcare services available to residents and further strengthen primary healthcare delivery in the community.
