Madam Louisa Berlinda Adzo Senam Kpornyoh has formally declared her intention to contest the position of Deputy Women’s Organiser in the upcoming National Democratic Congress (NDC) constituency elections in the Keta Constituency.
Madam Kpornyoh made her declaration on Sunday, August 23, 2026, through her official social media platforms, signalling her readiness to contribute to the party’s organisational development and women’s mobilisation at the constituency level.
According to her, the decision followed extensive consultations with grassroots members and other key stakeholders of the NDC to ensure that her ambition reflects the aspirations and expectations of the party’s rank and file.
When Veritas News GH interviewed her on Monday evening to ascertain her declaration, Madam Berlinda said the Keta NDC requires renewed energy, creativity and versatility to strengthen its structures and effectively advance the party’s interests.
“It is my firm belief that the NDC in our beloved constituency, at this juncture, not only needs fresh blood, but someone who is versatile, dynamic and creative to drive the affairs of the party forward.”
Berlinda Luisa Kpornyoh, an entrepreneur and experienced media professional, said her engagement in grassroots politics within the Keta Constituency had also given her valuable insight into the challenges confronting women who participate in politics.
She explained that her decision to contest the position was therefore driven by a desire to help strengthen women’s participation, representation and organisation within the party.
She described the position of Deputy Women’s Organiser as more than a political office, stressing that it is an important role in supporting the substantive Women’s Organiser to coordinate and advance the interests of women across the constituency.
“It is with this conviction that I humbly submit myself to serve our great party,” she declared.
She further disclosed that she would, in the coming days, unveil a seven-point women’s transformation agenda, which she said would outline her vision and priorities for women’s mobilisation and empowerment within the Keta Constituency NDC.
