Stonebowy donates to the Volta Youth Development Fund initiative

Celebrated Ghanaian dancehall and reggae musician, Livingstone Etsey Satekla, popularly known as “Stonebwoy”, has donated an amount of GH₵100,000 to support youth development and growth of creative arts in the Volta Region.

He made the announcement at a concert held as part of activities marking his birthday celebration concert dubbed Torcher Experience.

‎The donation was made ahead of the official launch of the Volta Youth Development Fund, which seeks to empower and promote talented creatives across the region. The initiative aims to provide opportunities for young artists, musicians, dancers, and other creatives to showcase their talents and develop their skills.

‎According to Stonebowy, the gesture forms part of his commitment to giving back to communities and supporting the growth of the creative industry, particularly in the Volta Region, which continues to produce many talented young people.

‎The Torcher Experience concert, which took place on Thursday March 5th at the Youth Resource Centre at Adaklu in the Volta Region as part of Stonebwoy’s birthday celebrations.

The event brought together music lovers, creatives, and entertainment stakeholders from across Ghana. The event did not only celebrate the musician’s journey in the industry but will also spotlighted the rich culture and creative potential within the Region.

‎Stakeholders in the creative arts sector have welcomed the donation, describing it as a major boost that will help nurture talents and create more opportunities for young creatives in the Volta Region.

‎Stonebwoy, known for using his platform to support social causes, continues to play a significant role in promoting Ghanaian culture and empowering the next generation of creatives through initiatives such as the Torcher Experience.
