President Mahama lauds Dr Dampare, and wishes him well

President John Mahama has expressed gratitude to the outgone Inspector General of Police (IGP), Dr George Akuffo Dampare, for his dedicated service to the nation.
Speaking during the the swearing-in ceremony of the new IGP, COP Christian Tetteh Yohuno, Mr Mahama gave a spotlight on the significant contributions of Dr Akuffo Dampare in relation to law enforcement and matters of national security in the country saying;
“Let me take this opportunity to also extend my deepest gratitude to the outgoing IGP. He has served our nation with dedication and commitment, and his contribution to law enforcement and national security will not be forgotten,” President Mahama said, acknowledging his commitment to the safety and security of the citizens.
The President also wished him well in his future endeavors, “We thank him for his service and we wish him well in his future endeavors,” he added.
