President Mahama commiserates with Burkina terror attack victims

President John Dramani Mahama has visited two survivors of Saturday’s Burkina Faso terrorist attack who have been on admission at the 37 military hospital in Accra.
The two survivors (names withheld) were among Ghanaian tomato traders on board a truck, which was ambushed by armed bandits in northern Burkina Faso.
The President was accompanied by Mr Julius Debrah, Chief of Staff, as they commiserated with the victims and assured them that their medical bills would be absorbed by the government.

Seven other Ghanaian traders were killed in the attack and have since been buried.
The two injured survivors were successfully transported back to Ghana by the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) on Wednesday afternoon
