The Ministry of Health has announced recruitment of some 15,200 midwives and nurses in the coming days
In a letter dated July 26 2024 made available to veritasnewsgh.com, the ministry said the Finance Ministry has given the financial clearance for the exercise.
Qualified applicants are expected to log on to the application website via http://hr.moh.gov.gh from Monday 5th August 2024 to Friday August 23 2024 and apply with their credentials for possible onward employments.
The Ministry of Health warned applicants against any form of recruitment scams saying,
“Applicants should therefore be aware of any person who may approach them on the pretext of assisting them for recruitment at a fee, the ministry therefore advises all applicants not to make any payment for this process. Whoever pays money does so at his/her own risk,” The ministry says.
Earlier this month, some 11,000 rotational nursing and Midwifery students threaten to picket at the Health Ministry over delayed clearance of employment.
