Mad. Dzifa Gomashie expresses gratitude as she assumes office as Minister for Tourism, Culture, and Creative Arts

Hon. Abla Dzifa Gomashie, the newly appointed Minister for Tourism, Culture, and Creative Arts, has expressed gratitude to all who supported her during her vetting process and public service journey.
She expressed deep appreciation to God, President John Dramani Mahama, and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for entrusting her with the significant responsibility of steering Ghana’s tourism and creative sectors toward holistic nation-building.
The Minister acknowledged the unwavering support of her family, chiefs, friends, colleagues, and constituents, especially during the vetting process in Parliament, despite limiting invitations due to space constraints and restrictive arrangements, she expressed gratitude to those who made the effort to attend, describing their presence as a testament to their commitment.
Reflecting on her years of public service, Mama Dzifa Gomashie highlighted the invaluable source of wisdom, kindness, and hope she has drawn from her community of supporters. She noted that this support continues to inspire her and shape her as a servant and leader.
“As I step into the next chapter as your Minister of Tourism, Culture, and Creative Arts, I am confident that I can continue to rely on your support as we work together to reset Ghana,” she stated, emphasizing her dedication to fostering national development through culture and tourism.
Her appointment marks a new chapter for Ghana’s tourism and creative arts sectors, with many looking forward to her leadership and vision to promote the tourism and cultural heritage of the Volta Region.
Madam Abla Dzifa Gomashie is currently serving her second term as a member of Parliament for Ketu South Constituency. She also served a deputy minister in charge of tourism, Art and Culture
