The Presidency has declared three days of national mourning amid the Wednesday helicopter crash that claimed eight lives in a tragic manner
The announcement was made through a press statement signed by Mr Felix Ofosu Kwakye (MP)
The statement also announced that the President has suspended all his scheduled activities for the week, as he reiterated that all national flags fly at half-mast as announced earlier by the Chief of Staff

A military helicopter carrying eight people, including Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, Minister for Environment, Science and Technology, Alhaji Dr. Ibrahim Murtala Mohammed, and Alhaji Muniru Mohammed, crashed in a forest near Adansi in the Ashanti Region, where they all lost their lives
