Nii Lantey Vanderpuye appointed as National Coordinator for DRIP

President John Dramani Mahama has appointed Mr Edwin Nii Lantey Vanderpuye, former Member of Parliament for Odododiodio, as the National Coordinator for the District Road Improvement Programme (DRIP).
DRIP, launched in July 2024 by former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, is to enhance road infrastructure, particularly in rural areas.
He served as the Minister of Youth and Sports and also Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry in the previous John Dramani Mahama’s government.
Mr Vanderpuye who was very vociferous about the transparency of operations of the DRIP program is tipped to lead the infrastructural policy to develop Ghana’s road sector
