The Anlo Youth Council is set to bring together young people, traditional leaders, stakeholders and other guests for the Anlo Youth Conference 2026 and inauguration of the Executive Council of the Anlo Youth Council
The event, scheduled to take place on Saturday, September 19, 2026, will be held at Dagbamate from 10:00 a.m. under the distinguished patronage of Togbi Agbesi Awusu II, Awadada of Anlo and Togbi Samlafo III, Fiaga of Atsyame
The programme will feature Mr Alex Segbefia, Chief of Staff at the Office of the Vice President, as Special Guest of Honour, while Hon. James Gunu, Volta Regional Minister, will attend as Guest of Honour, among other key dignitaries
The conference is being held on the theme: “A New Chapter, A Shared Vision, A Stronger Anlo” and is expected to provide a platform for meaningful conversations on youth leadership, cultural preservation, development opportunities and the collective aspirations of the Anlo people.
Beyond the formal inauguration of the new Executive Council, the conference is anticipated to strengthen collaboration among Anlo youth and create renewed momentum towards addressing issues affecting young people and the broader development of Anlo.
President of the Anlo Youth Council, Mr Kennet Kpedor, has assured guests, traditional authorities, stakeholders and participants of a purposeful and well-organised gathering.

This is not merely an inauguration; it is the beginning of a new chapter in which we seek to unite our youth, preserve our heritage and build practical pathways for development. The conference is expected to attract youth representatives and stakeholders from across the Anlo Traditional Area, with emphasis on youth empowerment, culture, leadership and development.
Organisers say the gathering represents an important opportunity to renew the commitment of Anlo youth to collective leadership and development while creating a shared vision for the future.
The Anlo Youth Council is therefore inviting all dignitaries, traditional leaders, youth representatives, development partners and other stakeholders to join the Council at Dagbamate on September 19 for what promises to be a significant new chapter in Anlo youth leadership.
