The grand launch of the Avenor Tutudoza 2026 Festival, which was originally scheduled for Thursday, August 27, 2026, has been rescheduled.
In a press release dated August 20, 2026, made available to veritasnewsgh.com, The Avenor Traditional Council, through its Central Planning Committee, announced the change.
Committee’s Secretary, Goodman Paul Agbesi Ayrah who signed the letter announced the new date as Friday, September 4, 2026.
According to him, all other arrangements, plans and engagements for the festival remain unchanged.
The Committee use the opportunity to apologize for any inconvenience the change may cause and assured chiefs, invited guests, heads of departments, community members and other stakeholders that adequate preparations were being made to ensure a successful and memorable event.
But the venue for The grand launch remains unchanged as Avega-Agornu where stakeholders and members of the public are expected to gather to mark the commencement of activities for the 2026 edition of the festival.
