Pencils of Promise Advances Digital Learning Drive at KETASCO

A high-level delegation from the Pencils of Promise has paid a working visit to Keta Senior High Technical School (KETASCO) in the Volta Region of Ghana to inspect the progress of its Internet Deployment Project.
The project is aimed at enhancing digital learning and access to technology in the school.
The delegation was led by Dzolalian Mr. Freeman Gobah, who doubles as the Country Director of Pencils of Promise and National Vice President of the KETASCO Past Students Association.

The delegation also included the organisation’s Chief Executive Officer and Board Members.
The team toured the project site to assess the installation process and evaluate its potential impact on teaching, learning, research and digital accessibility for both students and staff.
The initiative forms part of Pencils of Promise’s commitment to improving educational outcomes through technology-driven interventions and expanding digital connectivity in underserved communities.
Speaking during the visit, Assistant Headteacher-Academic of KETASCO, Mr. Nyamadi, expressed appreciation to Pencils of Promise for the support, noting that the project had already made a positive impact on lesson delivery.
“The Internet Deployment Project has significantly improved teaching and learning in the school. We appreciate this intervention and appeal to Pencils of Promise to consider expanding the project to benefit more areas of the school,” he said.
Dzolalian Mr Makafui Etse Dotse, Secretary of The KETASCO Past Students Association commended Mr. Gobah for facilitating the engagement and expressed gratitude to Pencils of Promise for their committed investment in the future of the school.
