The Ghana Civil Aviation Authority have officially confirmed the crash of an aircraft that occurred on the afternoon of Monday, 16th March 2026, in Tema, Ghana
The GCAA identified the aircraft as a “Microlight aircraft” with registration number 9GADV, which crashed in Tema, the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) has confirmed.
According to them, the aircraft was en route from Ho to Accra, with an estimated arrival time of 1520 Z.
The statement said there were two people on board, and details regarding their condition have not yet been disclosed.
Authorities have indicated that further information will be released in due course.
