The Ga Mantse, Nii Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, is reported to have been involved in an accident at Pai-Katanga in the Oti Region while the King was returning to Accra from Tamale.
The incident occurred at about 2:00 am on Wednesday, 18th February, 2026.
However, sources confirmed that the King is in stable condition and receiving treatment, and remains in good spirits.
The King travelled to the Northern Region on a private visit at the invitation of the Yaa Naa, a visit, described as cordial and significant, formed part of ongoing engagements between traditional authorities aimed at strengthening bonds of unity and mutual respect among Ghana’s revered institutions.
