Togbi Sri III urges Mahama administration to prioritize Anlo in development agenda
Anloga (V/R)- Togbi Sri III, the Awoamefia and Overlord of Anlo State (Dukor), has extended warm wishes to the incoming administration led by H.E. John Dramani Mahama, emphasizing the importance of fairness and equity in national development.
In his New Year message addressed to the sons and daughters of Anlo Dukor, Togbi Sri III urged the incoming government to ensure balanced allocation of development projects across the country,
“I urge the incoming Administration to ensure equity and fairness in development project allocations, I hope that all the needs we place before them during the campaign period as a State will be considered.
Togbi then pledged his commitment to work closely with state institutions to secure equitable opportunities for the people of Anlo Dukor.
“As your leader, I will lead you to work tirelessly with the relevant institutions of State to ensure that Anlo Dukor gets her fair share of the national cake,” Togbi Sri III affirmed.
Highlighting Ghana’s peaceful democratic transition, Togbi Sri III encouraged all citizens to uphold national harmony and unity, further solidifying the country’s status as a beacon of democracy in Africa.
He expressed optimism that the challenges faced by Anlo Dukor in 2024 would pave the way for progress and greater development in the coming year.
During the 2024 election campaign period, the Anlo State placed some infrastructural demands to the John Mahama campaign when he visited the Palace of Awoamefia in Early November as part of his campaign activities, some of these included road infrastructure, education facilities, construction of the Sea defence wall and land reclamation among others
The Overlord’s call underscores his dedication to the advancement of Anlo Dukor and his belief in the collective efforts of the people and government to achieve national prosperity.
