Ewe 24 TV pledges media support during courtesy call on Akatsi South MCE

The Management and Staff of Ewe24 Television have paid a courtesy call on the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Akatsi South, Hon. Daniel Dagbah, to congratulate him on his appointment and explore avenues for collaboration towards the development of the municipality.

The delegation, which was led by Mr Seyram Eric Agbolosu, Chief Executive Officer, Mr Festus Ashong, Director of Operations and other management members, used the opportunity to engage the MCE on the mission of the media house and reaffirmed the station’s commitment to serving as not only a broadcaster but also a development partner in the area. The delegation outlined key focus areas, including the promotion of good governance, civic responsibility, public education campaigns, cultural promotion, and youth empowerment initiatives.

“Our visit is not just ceremonial. Ewe24 TV sees itself as a development partner, ready to support the progress, challenges, and aspirations of Akatsi South. We believe the media must do more than report. It must help shape society through civic education, youth engagement, and cultural preservation.” Mr Agbolosu assured

Hon. Daniel Dagbah used the occasion to outline some of the remarkable projects his administration has initiated to boost development and drive economic transformation in Akatsi South. Flagship among these initiatives are efforts to increase internal revenue generation, particularly at the Akatsi market, ensure proper sanitation, and develop a robust eco-tourism system to position the municipality as a hub for sustainable growth.

“We are committed to transforming Akatsi South into a model municipality, and partnerships like this with Ewe24 TV give us the communication strength to bring the people along. From sanitation improvement to boosting local tourism and market revenue, our goal is to create an inclusive and economically vibrant Akatsi South. Mr Dagbah said”

The MCE welcomed Ewe24 TV’s partnership and emphasised the vital role of media in fostering development and enhancing communication between the Assembly and the people.

Ewe24 TV pledged its full support to the MCE’s administration and assured him of the station’s readiness to highlight government initiatives, amplify community voices, and foster positive change in Akatsi South.
