Richard Sefe to partner with private developers to boost eco-tourism in Anloga District

As part of efforts to promote ecotourism in the Anloga District, Mr Richard Kwami Sefe, the Member of Parliament for the area, has begun some consultative moves through a partnership with key private developers to transform the area into a tourism hub.

Mr. Sefe over the weekend engaged with the Chief Executive Officer of Lalana Beach, a well-known private investor, to discuss strategies for transforming the coastal areas of Anloga District into economic and tourism hubs.

The discussions focused on sustainable development, job creation, and environmental conservation, all aimed at harnessing the potential of the coastline for economic growth.

During a tour at the coast with the proposed partner, The Member of Parliament shared with Veritas news that “The proposed investment will bring much-needed infrastructure upgrades, eco-friendly designs, and community involvement,” He stated.

He also pledged his commitment to initiatives that will improve the livelihoods of residents while preserving the area’s natural beauty.

Mr. Sefe expressed optimism about the collaboration, saying, “I look forward to working closely with Lalana Beach to ensure that this project sets a high standard for sustainable coastal development and benefits our community.”

As part of the discussions, the MP pledged his full support for the continuation and completion of a facility at Kportorgboe Agbana Beach by the Developer, a key project expected to enhance tourism in the area.

During the interactions, he said the District is open for other investors who want to invest in the Districts potentials.

“The new government believes in a private-public partnership to boost the economy, so as the MP, I will lead any investors who want to come invest in the tourism potentials of the area to the District Assembly for exploitations, this how we can transform Anloga District,”

These initiatives if fully implemented will attract more investors to the area, create sufficient jobs for employment opportunities, and position Anloga District as one of the prime eco-tourism destinations along the coast of the Volta Region
