An emerging controversy surrounding Ghanaian artist Morgan Nero has prompted his management to issue a formal clarification following public backlash over a viral video

‎The video, which features Morgan Nero singing his popular song “Agbozume Naomi” with school pupils, sparked mixed reactions online. While some praised the lively interaction, others questioned the performance in a school setting, claiming the lyrics of the song are inappropriate for children of that age

‎In a notice released by management a few days ago on his official Facebook timeline here, they explained that the performance was conducted with the full knowledge and consent of the school authorities. According to the statement, the school specifically requested that Morgan Nero perform “Agbozume Naomi” because the pupils were already familiar with the song and excited to sing along.

“The performance was conducted with the full knowledge and consent of the school authorities, who specifically requested that he perform/sing along ‘Agbozume Naomi’ for the children, as they were already familiar with the song,”

‎Management said that the artist’s intention was purely to create a joyful and memorable experience for the children, describing the moment as one of engagement, inspiration, and positive connection he had.

‎They further expressed appreciation to members of the public who have shown concern and goodwill, acknowledging that feedback—both positive and critical—reflects the public’s interest in protecting young audiences.

‎Despite the controversy, sources close to his camp indicate that Morgan Nero remains focused on his music career, with rumours of a new song dropping soon, signalling that the artist is pressing forward with fresh projects.

‎As the conversation continues online, one thing remains clear: Morgan Nero’s presence and influence are growing, and so is the public attention that accompanies them.
