Tension has gripped Akatsi Tatorme in the Akatsi South Municipality Friday evening following a robbery attack on a local drink distributor shop, El-Shadai Limited
Reports indicate that armed robbers stormed the facility and made away with an undisclosed sum of money. One person was reportedly shot during the incident and is currently receiving medical attention.
A staff and an eyewitness who narrated the incidence to the media men around said, he heard the gunshots when he was busy loading a truck.
According to him, the robbers numbering bout four were in face masks and did not use any vehicle but run into the nearby bush after taking the money.
Residents remain in shock as security agencies have commenced investigations into the matter.
