Legal practitioners Zoe, Akyea & Co. have issued an official statement debunking allegations on social media that their client Evangelist Diana Asamoah is a lesbian.
The statement, signed by lawyer Samuel Atta Akyea, described the claims as “slanderous” and “baseless,” calling on the general public to disregard the video in circulation. According to them, Diana Asamoah is not a lesbian and does not engage in any form of lesbianism.
“We have the instructions of our Client to assert in no uncertain terms that she is not a lesbian and does not practice lesbianism in any form or kind,” the statement read.
Earlier, the Gospel musician herself spoke in a video shared on February 14, 2025, firmly stating that she is not a lesbian and urged those spreading such false information about her to stop tarnishing her hard-earned reputation.
Additionally, the law firm has challenged the person responsible for making the claims in the video to substantiate her claims in a court of competent jurisdiction.
“We contest her baseless claim,” the firm stated, adding that if the accuser fails to justify her remarks, the public should treat the video “with the contempt it deserves.”
The controversy follows recent online discussions, but Evangelist Asamoah’s legal team has made it clear that they will not tolerate defamatory statements against their client.
