Reports have confirmed that Mr Harruna Iddrisu, Minister for Education and Mr Mohammed Adams Sukparu, Deputy Minister for Communications and Digital Technology, have been involved in a road accident on Thursday afternoon.
The incident happened on the Bolgatanga–Tumu Road when they were travelling to the Upper West Region to commemorate the 40th Anniversary celebrations of both the Tumu College of Education and Jahan College of Education.
Hashmin Mohammed, Press Secretary at the Office of the Education Minister, has confirmed the incident and stated that both the Minister and other convoy members are in very stable condition after the incident.
