Ketu North, Volta Region (April, 2026)

In a significant boost to digital education in the constituency, Mr  Edem Eric Agbana, the Member of Parliament for Ketu North, has received a generous donation of Information Technology equipment from the Identra Ghana Foundation, the social impact arm of Identra Technologies Bureau.

The materials numbering 50 laptops and 30 tablets marks a major stride in ongoing efforts to equip students in Ketu North with essential digital tools and computer literacy skills, empowering them to compete and thrive in the rapidly evolving technological landscape.

Records available to veritasnews indicates that, since 2023, over 120 desktops and 200 laptops have been distributed to selected schools and students across the constituency. Notably, this donation introduces tablets specifically for early learners, a strategic move aimed at embedding digital skills from the foundational level.

Speaking on the donation, Mr Agbana said:

“We are sincerely grateful to the Identra Ghana Foundation for this strategic investment in the future of our young people. Our Partnership Desk remains committed to unlocking opportunities and building strong collaborations with individuals and institutions, with the ultimate goal of ensuring that every basic school in Ketu North has at least one desktop computer to support practical learning. Together, we are preparing a generation that is ready for tomorrow.”

The Identra Ghana Foundation has expressed intentions to extend similar support to other constituencies, further reinforcing its commitment to improving access to digital education across the nation.
