Ewevi Multimedia pays a courtesy call on the Chief of Army Staff ahead of the “Experience Volta in Accra Festival”

A delegation from Ewevi Multimedia Limited, operators of Ewe24 TV and organisers of the upcoming Experience Volta in Accra Festival, has paid a courtesy call on the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Major General Lawrence Kwaku Gbetanu, at the Ghana Army Headquarters, Burma Camp in Accra.

The delegation was led by Mr Eric Seyram Agbolosu, the Chief Executive Officer of Ewe24 TV, and included Zikpuitorl Agbolosu, Torgbui Honu II of Aflao, Torgbui Anoky of Weta, and members of the Ewe24 News Team. The traditional leaders represented Torgbuiga Amenya Fiti Adzongaga V, Paramount Chief of the Aflao Traditional Area.

The visit was to officially inform Major General Gbetanu about the upcoming festival, scheduled to take place at the Elwak Sports Stadium, and to extend a formal invitation to him as Special Guest at the grand durbar of the event.

Mr. Agbolosu, in his address, explained that the Experience Volta in Accra Festival aims to promote the rich cultural heritage, tourism potential, and creative excellence of the Volta Region, while fostering unity and national cohesion. He noted that the initiative would also celebrate distinguished Voltarians and other Ghanaians who have made outstanding contributions to national development.

He further revealed that Major General Gbetanu would be among personalities to be honoured for his exemplary leadership, professionalism, and dedication to duty, which continue to inspire many within and beyond the military.

In his remarks, Major General Gbetanu commended the organisers for the initiative, describing it as timely and impactful. He lauded the effort to project a positive identity and brand for the Volta Region and pledged his full support for the event.

“This initiative is timely and impactful, and I fully support the effort to project a positive identity for the Volta Region,” 

He expressed optimism that such cultural initiatives would strengthen national unity, deepen mutual respect among diverse communities, and promote peace and development.

The Experience Volta in Accra Festival is expected to attract traditional rulers, government officials, diplomats, and the general public. Organisers have assured that the event will be a memorable celebration of culture, creativity, and community spirit.
