BECE 2025: Authorities in the Anloga District motivate candidates, urge integrity and professionalism

Hon. Sandra Seyram Kpedor, the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Anloga, together with Mr. Dominic Yao Dzanado, the District Director of Education, and other key officials from the Anloga District Assembly, have extended their heartfelt best wishes to the over 1500 candidates sitting for the 2025 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) across the district

In a goodwill message shared with the media Wednesday afternoon, Hon. Sandra Kpedor encouraged all candidates to remain focused, confident, and committed to excellence throughout the examination period.

“Your hard work and dedication will pay off. We believe in you and know that you have what it takes to succeed,” Mad Sandra advised

Mr. Dzanado also seized the opportunity to counsel candidates against engaging in examination malpractice, while calling on invigilators and supervisors to maintain the highest standards of professionalism.

“To my colleagues supervising the exams across the district, be professional. Do not yield to any form of temptation that could compromise the integrity of the process. We want Anloga District to be free from any examination-related incidents,” Mr Dzanado cautioned.

The remarks were made after they visited several examination centres on Wednesday afternoon, including Zion College, ANTECH, Agortoe Centre, and Atito E.P. School. The purpose of the visit was to offer moral support to candidates, assess coordination efforts, and ensure smooth conduct of the exams.

Hon. Sandra Kpedor praised the candidates for their composure and discipline, encouraging them to stay positive and give their very best.

She also assured stakeholders that adequate measures had been put in place to ensure a peaceful and incident-free examination across all centres.

Some candidates engaged by the GNA after their first exams showed high spirit and said they will excel with flying colours. Invigilators also promised to deliver their services with the highest standard of professionalism for an incident-free process

Checks at the centres visited reveal that all necessary measures are in place, including the early arrival of exam papers and sufficient security protocols.

A total of 1,544 candidates from 62 schools are writing this year’s BECE at eight designated centres within the Anloga District, scheduled to end on June 18 2025.

The monitoring team is expected to continue its tour to the remaining centres at Ayanui E.P., ANSECO, Tegbi E.P., and Blemeazado in the coming days.
