The week-long anniversary activities, which featured a mix of educational and entertainment programmes, climaxed on Saturday, 21st February, 2026, at the school’s park. The durbar was chaired by Torgbui Tengey Dzokoto Gligui VII, Paramount Chief of Anyako, whose presence added traditional dignity and cultural depth to the celebration.

The “Bernard Ahiafor Excellence Award” was instituted to celebrate the lawmaker who will recognise the best three students in Senior High School One, Two and Three, with scholarships to be awarded to outstanding final-year students.

Various speakers at the event praised Abor Senior High School (ABORSCO) for its consistent contribution to national development through quality education and character formation. They urged current students to uphold the school’s proud traditions and strive for excellence in all endeavours.
