The Phlosam Foundation, a Non-Governmental organisation, has donated assorted teaching and learning materials to the Adaklu Vodze DA Primary School in the Adaklu District, as part of efforts to promote quality education in rural communities.
The donation, made on Monday, 3rd November 2025, forms part of the Foundation’s commitment to providing vulnerable pupils with essential resources to enhance effective teaching and learning.

Mr. Samuel Abisinu, Founder of the Phlosam Foundation, said the gesture aligns with the organisation’s vision of empowering pupils in deprived communities with the tools needed to boost academic performance.
He emphasised that education remains central to community development, adding that all children—regardless of where they live—deserve access to quality learning materials.
“Education must be enjoyed by all, not only the privileged. Our aim at Phlosam Foundation is to give every child equal access to education,” he said.
Mr. Abisinu further assured that the Foundation would continue to extend similar support to schools within the Adaklu District and beyond, reaffirming its commitment to educational development, mentorship, and community empowerment initiatives geared toward creating equitable learning opportunities for children.
The Headmaster of Adaklu Vodze DA Primary School, Mr. Edward Dzidza, expressed gratitude to the Foundation for the timely intervention. He noted that the support would greatly enhance teaching and learning outcomes in the school.
Mr. Dzidza also appealed for additional assistance, particularly in the area of Information and Communication Technology (ICT).
“We currently have no computer at Adaklu Vodze DA Primary School, and this affects our ability to teach ICT as required. We are appealing to individuals, philanthropists, NGOs, government agencies, and benevolent organisations to support us with ICT materials,” He said.

Adaklu Vodze Primary School has a pupil population of about 150 pupils and eight staff
