Anlo MP donates to Muslim community in observance of Ramadan

The Member of Parliament for Anlo Constituency in the Volta Region, Mr Richard Kwame Sefe has extended a gesture of generosity to the Muslim Community in his Constituency as they observe the Holy month of Ramadan over the weekend
As part of his outreach and in the spirit of solidarity and compassion, Mr Sefe visited some Muslim communities to express his support during this sacred period of fasting, prayer, and spiritual reflection.
He donated essential food items, including bags of rice and sugar, and other items and an undisclosed amount of cash to help alleviate some of the challenges faced by the worshipers during the fasting period.
During the donation, Hon. Sefe discussed the significance of Ramadan as a time of self-improvement, kindness, and community service. He urged the need for collective efforts to show empathy and support for one another, especially in times of need.
“Ramadan reminds us of the importance of charity, volunteerism, and helping those in need. As a Member of Parliament, I am committed to serving our community and fostering a sense of unity and social responsibility,” Mr Sefe stated.
Hon. Sefe further extended his warmest wishes to the Muslim community in Anlo and across the nation, praying for peace, prosperity, and joy during the holy month.
This action by the Anlo lawmaker reinforces his commitment to the welfare of his constituents and bridging the gap of religion and social status.
