GWCL to disrupt water supply in Ho and its environs on Tuesday, March 4th for maintenance

GWCL announces temporary shutdown at Kpeve headworks
The Volta Regional office of the Ghana Water Limited (GWL) has announced a temporary shutdown of their plants at Kpeve Headworks to allow for some important maintenance works to be done.
The shutdown is scheduled to come off on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The planned shutdown which was announced in a press statement signed by Madam Roda Donkor, Public Relations Officer of the GWL, Volta Region indicated that it is to allow technicians of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) to help do some maintenance works including replacing a defective Ring Main Unit (RMU) in the power supply system.
Water supply to communities such as Peki, Have, Bame, Akrofu, Ziave, Klefe, and the entire Ho township will be disrupted due to the temporary shutdown.
The GWL assures customers that production and water supply will resume immediately maintenance woks are completed.
Meanwhile, Residents are advised to store enough water in advance to avoid any inconveniences
