A young lady believed to be in her late 20s or early 30 who is a Mobilemoney vendor named Patricia Nimako has met her untimely death Thursday afternoon when she was shot and killed by armed robbers
The tragic incidence occurred on the afternoon of Thursday February 13 2025 at around 3:00pm in her shop at Kromfo, a suburb of Kumasi in the Ashanti Region
An eyewitness, said the robbers approached from behind her shop, brandishing offensive weapons and guns, demanded money, a situation which scared people from helping rescuing the situation.
According to eyewitness reports, the suspected armed robbers bolted with an amount of about GH₵10,000 and mobile phones after she was shot twice
She was quickly rushed to Manhyia Hospital but was pronounced dead by the doctors upon arrival.
Mr Isaac Owusu, the Assembly Member for Odumase-CPC Electoral Area, who also confirmed the incident to media men said the robbers came to her shop through the back door, they took money from here and sped off with the motorbike.
