Nugoryiyi, Ras Muta Foundations to Review BECE Results, Hand Over Toilet Facility in Denu

Denu (Ketu South) September 11 2026
The Nugoryiyi Foundation, in partnership with the Ras Muta Foundation, will review the 2026 BECE performance of Denu Roman Catholic Basic School and Denu Chicago Basic School in the Ketu South Municipality.
The exercise, scheduled for September 15 and 16, will bring together school heads, teachers and staff to assess the results, identify challenges and develop measures to improve academic performance.
The initiative is being led by Mr Israel Bossman, Assemblymember for the Denu Electoral Area and CEO of the Nugoryiyi Foundation.

As part of the programme, the foundations will on September 16 hand over a newly constructed four-unit modern toilet facility to Denu Chicago Basic School.
The facility, undertaken by the Nugoryiyi and Ras Muta Foundations, is expected to improve sanitation and provide pupils and staff with a healthier learning environment.
Mr Bossman said the initiative was aimed at turning identified educational challenges into practical interventions.
“Our goal is to turn identified challenges into practical interventions that improve learning and the wellbeing of our children,” he said.
The handover will coincide with the birthday of the late Ras Muta, whose memory the project seeks to honour through a development initiative benefiting children in the community.
