North Dayi to Cut Sod for Major Educational Infrastructure Projects on July 27

The North Dayi Constituency will on Monday, July 27, 2026, hold a sod-cutting ceremony for the commencement of several educational infrastructure projects aimed at improving teaching, learning and student accommodation across the constituency.

The projects span both basic and second-cycle education and include the construction of three 3-unit classroom blocks at Aveti-Denui D/A JHS in Anfoega, Tsrukpe Zanukofe D/A JHS, and Botoku Bradatornu D/A JHS.

At the senior high school level, an 18-unit classroom block and a two-storey boys’ dormitory block will be constructed at Vakpo SHS, while Anfoega SHS will receive a two-storey girls’ dormitory block.

President John Dramani Mahama is expected to officiate the ceremony, which will also be attended by the Volta Regional Minister, Mr James Gunu; the Member of Parliament for North Dayi, Mrs Joycelyn Tetteh; and the North Dayi Municipal Chief Executive, Mr Adevor Ernest.

The programme will begin at the Anfoesec Campus at 10:00 a.m., with subsequent ceremonies at the Vasec Campus scheduled for 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
