Full List: Winners at the 27th Telecel Ghana Music Awards- 2026

The Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre came alive on Saturday night as the 2026 Telecel Ghana Music Awards delivered an unforgettable celebration of music, glamour, and outstanding performances. Music lovers across Ghana and beyond watched eagerly as top artistes battled for some of the industry’s biggest honours.

Before the commencement of the main show was the Red Carpet moment, which showcased much elegance in fashion that got a lot of people talking. The night featured thrilling performances from arts like Samini, R2Bees, Enam, Morgan Nero, Fido, and memorable victories, with major winners emerging across several competitive categories.

The 2026 Awards was dominated by Black Sherif, who emerged as the biggest winner of the night with four major awards, including the coveted Artiste of the Year, Album of the Year, Hiphop Song of the Year, and Songwriter of the Year.

Medikal also enjoyed a strong night, winning Hiplife Song of the Year, Best Collaboration of the Year alongside Shatta Wale, and Best Hiphop Artiste of the Year.

Kofi Kinaata continued his dominance in Highlife music, securing both Highlife Song of the Year and Highlife Artiste of the Year.

Other notable winners included Stonebwoy as Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year, Wendy Shay as Best AfroBeats/Afropop Artiste, and Kojo Blak who was named Best New Artiste.

Veteran highlife icon Daddy Lumba was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award for his immense contribution to Ghanaian music.

  • Best Collaboration of the Year – Medikal/Shatta Wale – Shoulder
  • Best International Collaboration – Moliy – Shake it to theMax
  • Afropop Song of the Year – Black Sherif – Sacrifice
  • Best Afrobeats Song – Kojo Blak ft Kelvyn Boy – Excellent
  • Best Reggae/Dancehall Song: MOLIY, SHENSEEA, SKILLIBENG, SILENT ADDY – Shake it to the Max rms
  • Best Urban/Contemporary Gospel Song: Kofi Owes Peprah – Big God Afro
  • Best Music video : AratheJay Directed by David Duncan – Put am on God
  • Gospel Artiste of the Year: Diana Hamilton – This is the doing of the Lord
  • Best AfroBeats/Afropop Artiste of the Year – Wendy Shay
  • Producer of the Year: Shoulder – A’town (Winner)
  • Traditional Gospel Song: Piesie Esther – Nyame Ye
  • Reggae Dancehall Artiste of the Year: StoneBwoy
  • Best Hiphop Artiste of the Year: Medikal
  • Best African song – Davido ft Omah Lay – With You
  • Audio Engineer of the Year – Daniel Grüll – Enso Nyame Y3
  • Song Writer of the Year : Black Sherif
  • Best Rap Performance : Strongman – Mensei Da
