Ghana Armed Forces Evacuate Ghanaians Injured in Burkina Faso Terror Attack

The Ghana Armed Forces has successfully evacuated three Ghanaian traders who were injured in a terrorist attack that occurred over the weekend at Titao in Burkina Faso.
The sad incident that occurred on Saturday, 14 February 2026, claimed the lives of some tomato traders who travelled to the country to do business
The evacuation forms part of the Government’s coordinated humanitarian and security efforts. The mission was conducted on Tuesday, 17 February 2026, by the Ghana Air Force.
The injured have since been conveyed to the 37 Military Hospital for further medical assessment and treatment.

The information was announced by the Ghana Armed Forces on Wednesday afternoon, as signed by Captain Veronica Adzo Arhin, Acting Director of General Public Relations
The Ghanaian Armed Forces have extended their deepest condolences to the bereaved families, pray for the repose of the souls of the deceased and wish the injured a speedy recovery.
